Connecticut grown meats, honey, maple syrup, milk, eggs, yogurt, butter, and cheeses are available throughout the year. Seafood options including clams, lobster, and shellfish can also be found.

There are farmers' markets available year round. Towns with winter farmers' markets include the Fairfield Winter Market; the Litchfield Hills Farmers’ Market in Litchfield; the New Milford Farmers’ Market; CitySeed’s indoor farmers’ market in New Haven; Stonington Winter Farmers’ Market; Coventry, Ellington, and Storrs Winter Farmers’ Markets in Tolland County; and Stonington Farmers’ Market.
